In the article,Going Global: Culture Shock, Convergence and the Future of Education
Kim Cofino describes taking a closer look at life in Asia and how this can give an new vision about our learning and life for us. Cofino stresses the need for collaboration and flexibility. Just as finding a new country to be strange and "hard to adjust to" at first, it still continues to create new learning. Students and teachers need to be able to collaboarte with one another in order to gain knowledge from one another. Being able to collaborate with classrooms across the world is a way of learning from others. Students and teachers are heading towards a way of new digial learning across the world. They are learning to collaborate and share ideas across the world with the help of technological tools. Being flexible is also important because teachers and students need to be able to change their way of thinking and adapt to new technologies that are being introduced. Going global is an adjustment for teachers and students, however, it's a new direction that will drive new knoweldge.
